I emptied the cache - that doesn't help. From a fresh account - I just added - I got this message:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/uzbl-tabbed", line 143, in <module> import pygtk ImportError: No module named pygtk

Of cause, the module is installed: pacman -Ss pygtk
testing/pygtk 2.24.0-1 [Installiert]

I got the same problem today after upgrading: the following downgrades got it working again:

uzbl-core (2011.04.12-2 -> 2011.03.17-1)
uzbl-browser (2011.04.12-2 -> 2011.03.17-1)
uzbl-tabbed (2011.04.12-2 -> 2011.03.17-1)
libwebkit (1.4.0-1 -> 1.2.7-1)

Did your system is properly upgraded (with pacman -Syu) ?

I cannot reproduce the problem!
Comment by Karl Kochs (K4ph) - Sunday, 01 May 2011, 10:03 GMT
Yes, Owain, this is one of the possible two solutions, downgrading all those three packages AND libwebkit or - what I did after nothing happened, I installed uzbl-git. That works too.
And yes, Laurent, I did upgrade correctly. I had that bug on two systems, one running i686 - the other one running x86-64. Installing again from testing brings back the bug.

Yes, and I just tried again with a different mirror, same problem. (Edit - in reply to Laurent)

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2981198/2011-05-01-122012_1366x768_scrot.png - now after throwing out the packages - and recompiling from uzbl-git. Voila.
Comment by Ionut Biru (wonder) - Sunday, 01 May 2011, 10:22 GMT
that should be reported upstream. is related to pygtk/gtk2 2.24 changes

The original problem is about uzbl-event-manager not fixed for python2 now it is, does uzbl still segfault?
