https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wacom you probably have to set the refresh rate.

I have the same probleme with wacom bamboo fun tablet (1st generation). Wiki for wacom configuration is for old version of X server.

Okay... I've fatal-crashed my arch in order to correct this issue. After complete reinstallation of my system (with wacom driver) my wacom bamboo fun completely works... So, i guess my last archlinux (since sept 2010) was a little bit messy: Really weird conflict between xf86-input-wacom/input-wacom and xorg-server... Don't know where it exactly from...

To be continued...

I do not see anything about refresh rate there.
Everything was fine before the upgrade, so this is a clear regression.

Can't find much about jerky movement of wacom... only this old message about Local APIC support on uniprocessors in kernel: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Debian/2006-10/msg03323.html

According to this http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.wacom/5369 the problem is already fixed in git.

Denis, any luck in finding the cause of your clean reinstall solution?

After reinstallation, just install xf86-input-wacom and input-wacom and the worg suite according to your configuration. I can't say more.

Haven't plugged my tablet into Arch machine for a while...

With current xf86-input-wacom 0.14.0-1 everything is fine and smooth.
