Description:
Since xorg-xkb-utils has been updated to version 7.6-1, my system keeps crashing at startup. If I put only US keyboard on GDM Interfaces, that does not seem to happen.

The only way to avoid the crash is to downgrade package xorg-xkb-utils to version 7.5-2.

Additional info:
Apparently, I'm not the only one to report this problem : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=904832

Steps to reproduce:
On GDM select a non-US keyboard for a specific user. Reboot. X crashes at startup indicating a failure in keyboard compilation. With the previous version, everything is just fine and smooth.

Please attach logfiles. Probably you're missing a binary that was deleted by some weird bug in pacman that sometimes deletes files when they move between packages.

Looking at your forum topic, either I'm right or you forced some dependencies, as it's impossible to downgrade xorg-xkb-utils without file conflicts if everything was right. Reinstall xorg-setxkbmap and you're done.

I reinstalled package xorg-setxkbmap as suggested and I cannot reinstall the old version of xorg-xkb-utils (so one problem at least confirm), but X still crashes at startup with this message :

[ 18.271] (EE) Error compiling keymap (server-0)
[ 18.271] (EE) XKB: Couldn't compile keymap
[ 18.271] XKB: Failed to compile keymap
[ 18.271] Keyboard initialization failed. This could be a missing or incorrect setup of xkeyboard-config.
[ 18.271]
Fatal server error:
[ 18.271] Failed to activate core devices.

xorg-xkbcomp is also missing on your system.
