$ clang hello.c Compiling with clang fails in linker stage with the following error message: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find crt1.o: No such file or directory /usr/bin/ld: cannot find crti.o: No such file or directory /usr/bin/ld: cannot find crtbegin.o: No such file or directory /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) Maybe library paths were not properly set when compiling clang/llvm? (the missing libraries are located in /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.6.0, but adding that dir to the -L option doesn't help much). Additional info: * package version(s) clang 2.9-2 llvm 2.9-2 |
