DetailsDescription:
when i use pam_mysql to authenticate, it fail and report "undefined symbol: pam_set_data" in /var/log/auth.log Additional info: * package version(s) openvpn 2.1.4 pam 1.1.3 pam_mysql 0.7RC1-3 * config and/or log files etc. /etc/pam.d/openvpn ----------------------cut here------------------------ auth required pam_mysql.so user=dbuser passwd=dbpass host=localhost db=openvpn table=vpnuser usercolumn=username passwdcolumn=password sqlog=1 crypt=0 ----------------------cut stop------------------------ Steps to reproduce: I want to use mysql as my authenticate db in openvpn. In openvpn's documents, they could use a openvpn-auth-pam.so as a plugin ,and traslate the username/password to pam, pam then call pam_mysql(setting in /etc/pam.d/openvpn) to do the really authenticate. when pam_mysql do authenticate , it return false. And leave some message in /var/log/auth.log like this Apr 7 22:26:48 home openvpn[14350]: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_mysql.so): /lib/security/pam_mysql.so: undefined symbol: pam_set_data Apr 7 22:26:48 home openvpn[14350]: PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_mysql.so |
