DetailsDescription: Until now ktorrent is built with -DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER_PLUGIN=false option.
Since ktorrent 4.1 though, there is a new feature called "video streaming" that allows a video file to be downloaded in a sequential (from start to end) way so you can watch it while it is being downloaded. The problem is that the only way to enable this behavior is by enqueueing the video file in ktorrent's embedded media player and start playing it. Please, consider offering ktorrent with mediaplayer plugin enabled (it's only a few extra kB, it doesn't require additional dependencies and it doesn't cause any problem to ktorrent that I noticed) |
