heh, I added htdig just yesterday to aur for use with kdevelop. Is the packager listening ? ;)

Surely this is only a runtime dependency, much like qt-designer, valgrind, etc mentioned in the optional requirements at the kdevelop web page [1]. Perhaps just a post-intsall message. (Debian seems to package instructions on how to setup htdig and some basic configuration examples)

whatever the decision with this, it is probably best to remove graphviz due to all its gnome dependencies.
