Firefox closes immediately after loading a webpage with an embedded video/audio element (mpg, avi, possibly others) when using vlc-plugin. Additional info: package versions; * vlc-plugin 1.1.8-2 x86_64 * firefox 4.0-1 x86_64 error/output from a console (dmesg shows nothing unusual); * firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libvlcplugin.so: undefined symbol: NPP_Initialize Steps to reproduce: Install vlc-plugin and attempt to load an mpg/avi video on a webpage within firefox. |

vlc-plugin should be dropped. it doesn't support xul 2.0 and upstream dropped it too from vlc master and moved it in a separate repo that doesn't have any commits
