one of the makepkg's processes segfaults when it tries to strip symbols from libraries (windowx x64 ones), around line 914.

Steps to Reproduce:

install metasploit-svn (yes, metasploit contains DLLs for win x64)

Can you post the actual output of the end of the build? I'm sure it is not a segfault...

This is definitely not a makepkg bug. I have followed up with the bug report in binutils upstream.
