kind of the same issue here. I have kded4 reaching 100%. Most of the time it happens when I suspend my laptop and wake it up on another network.
Some other posts suggest a link with ntrack.
I am using :
kdeplasma-applet-networkmanagement git20110418
ntrack 1.13-1
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269396
I tried to disable networkmanager and connect to 3G using wvdial.
Once I killall -15 pppd, kded consume 100% cpu.
Even after disable "Network Status" service of kded, still can hit the problem.
On RHEL 6 (kde 4.3.4), I still can reproduce this problem. It might be a bug of kde.
Can anyone provide me a way to troubleshoot where kded stuck?
So far everything works fine for me.
