The pylorcon PKGBUILD have arch=("any"), but the pkg include an ELF file. Some extra info: $ pacman -Qi pylorcon|grep Architecture Architecture : any $ pacman -Ql pylorcon|grep '\.so' pylorcon /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pylorcon.so $ file /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pylorcon.so /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pylorcon.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, stripped $ uname -m x86_64 Changing the arch to arch=("i686" "x86_64") solve the problem.
