hi
here a small patch that enables dynamic detection of ide pcmcia devices like cardreaders.
udev and devfs handle this detection fine, so there is no need of manual creation with mknod.

Hi tpowa,

Can you explain the patch a bit? All it seems to do is disable a portion or the ide script that runs mknod. Does that mknod stuff somehow hinder the use of cardreaders?
