Description:

I'm not able to update from openoffice to libreoffice using "pacman -Suy". When I reply yes to the package replacement at the end openoffice-base cannot be removed cause of the openoffice-it dependency from openoffice-base ... I don't exactly ho dependency are managed, but maybe libreoffice-it should replace openoffice-it too? So to let "pacman -Suy" have success? I know I can remove all openoffice on my own and then install libreoffice but in this way I lose pacman automatic features.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
try to "pacman -Suy" if you have openoffice-base and openoffice-it installed.

Is it difficult to fix this or is not the correct way to go on?

Neither, the package is under revision and devs are simply discussing about it. A fix will eventually be availlable.
