DetailsAnjuta 2.32.1.1-1 depends on vala 0.11.7, and I believe that's why I can't load the vala language support plugin. Reading the source code, it seems that the plugin should be compiled against vala 0.10.x:
http://git.gnome.org/browse/anjuta/tree/plugins/language-support-vala/Makefile.am?h=gnome-2-32 IIRC, the plugin used to work when I installed vala 0.10.x from the repo, and used to stop working if I installed 0.11.7 from AUR. Currently, installing 0.10.4 doesn't make the plugin loadable. Maybe because it was compiled against vala 0.11? I guess Anjuta 3.0 will work fine with vala 0.12. |
