I think the aim of Desktop-Agnostic is misunderstood here. It's kinda abstraction layer for VFS and configuration backends, like Gconf. So gconf should be just an optional dependency for libdesktop-agnostic package. It's probably needed as makedepends too, but you don't need it if you running f.e. XFCE or LXDE. |
