Other than pretty much having to revert everything done very shortsightedly in  FS#11737 , this is going well. I have a mostly-working implementation locally.

That was the start of it, but the actual correct handling of them in all places and cases I think is still up in the air. I'll see if I can find this magic local implementation I spoke of...
