Details

Description: The PKGBUILD for mpd does not enable jack by default, so all people using JACK and mpd will have to rebuild mpd with --enable-jack when updates get pushed to the repositories.

Could you please test testing/mpd? It should not require jack, but you can install jack, configure mpd and then try. If that doesn't work we'll just add it straight as a dependency.

Not sure if I should open a new report, but the mpd (0.16.2-2) from testing is broken:
mpd: error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
