The option -d of pacman doesn’t seem to work anymore (pacman 3.5.1-1 from testing)

Steps to Reproduce:
$ sudo pacman -Rd perl

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Read the manpage. Use -dd now to fully skip checks, and why are you skipping dep checks anyway?

I’m writing a PKGBUILD for a game and I wanted to be sure that openal is not needed (the game is supposed to use openal but namcap says that the dependency is unneeded), so I wanted to remove temporarily openal (without having to remove everything that depends on it) and test if the game still works.
