conkeror fails to start: no window appears and no error message is printed. Deleting the profile directory ~/.conkeror.mozdev.org (as suggested on conkerorwiki) does not solve the problem. Running "conkeror -jsconsole" shows "Could not read chrome manifest file '/usr/share/conkeror/chrome.manifest'." and "No chrome package registered for chrome://branding/locale/brand.properties". Should be fixed now. I had to remove my ~/.conkeror.mozdev.org directory and to run xulrunner --register-global as root.

Should be fixed now. I had to remove my ~/.conkeror.mozdev.org directory and to run xulrunner --register-global as root.
