DetailsA deprecated floppy image ether_pcmcia.img still exists on some servers. User reported that the image contains modules for the 2.6.8.1 kernel. However, the boot floppy image contains the 2.6.10 kernel. The solution was to use the new ether_pcmcia_wireless.img . The FTP mirrors should get rid of the ether_pcmcia.img.

If you take a look at ftp.surfnet.nl, that mirror hosts the complete archlinux since they start mirroring our FTP, great source for old packages, confusing for the end-user.
If you're unsure, use ftp.archlinux.org to download the disk images.
