testing/kernel 2.6.38

I'm getting high load average (~2-3.50) when idle.
On 2.6.36-37 it was an "intel_ips" module problem solved removing it, not in .38 https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=890622
I'm still getting "ehci_hcd" error during boot and a minor load removing that module (but disabling usb).
Also saw "dhcpcd" searching for zombies on .38

This is my first bug report so tell me what log you need or whatever ^^

I can only confirm the intel_ips problem, which we fixed in .38.2 (the fix is not upstream yet I'm afraid). I cannot reproduce any other high load problems here.

EDIT: Also, I only experienced a load of 1 while idle, never as high as yours.

Still an issue?

The problem I mentioned is fixed, no idea about the OP's problem.
