The stock kernel has 16 as the NR_CPU limit for the kernel. It would be great if this could be increased to something like 64. With hyperthreading it isn't too ridiculous to surpass the 16 pretty quickly (couple 6 core chips and you are at 24). Additional info: * package version(s) 2.6.34-ARCH |
