Only the fonts are left. All the other xorg-* packages are not part of the X11R7.6 release, so they don't belong in the xorg group.

So, this is a wontfix?

I've already been tripped up by this more than once, since "xmessage", "xterm" or "startx" are not present even after installing the whole xorg group.

Some font packages still need to be changed, but xmessage, xterm and startx/xinit are not part of the official release set, so they don't belong in the xorg group.

  • Field changed: Summary (Several xorg-* packages not in any xorg group → [xorg] Several xorg-* packages not in any xorg group)
still valid?

$ expac "%n %G" -S | grep xorg | grep -v " xorg"
prints 37 package names, I have no idea if they should be in xorg group.
