Don't use --disable-gdbm in zsh build. GDBM db backend for zsh is meant to make the process of tab completion faster. So, not disabling it will improve the completion speed of zsh. Also, gdbm is not a heavy dependency - 188k installed size. Steps to reproduce: Build with and without --disable-gdbm and notice the difference in tab-completion speed. |
