- building libgdiplus with the built-in cairo/libpixman sources fail for some obscure (glitz related) reason, it's also not an option since it will conflict with the generic cairo/libpxman packages probably, which ends up being a mess
- it doesn't built when using the packages coming with arch for two reasons:
. . 1. it's hardlocked to cairo 0.3.0(we have 0.4.0) and tweaking for 0.4.0 fails for some API changes
. . 2. the build system plain sucks, when asking for compilation with preinstalled cairo, it doesn't configure the built in sources but the Makefiles tries to build them anyway, which must fail for missing makerules
read, you can try it and send me patches/PKGBUILD if it works but I won't promise anything, cuz I don't wann a spend half a day on it just for every update, It's hardly worth it. So let it mature a bit.
