Description:

I've got Arch running on a HTPC, which is controlled by a bluetooth keyboard/mouse (namely Logitech diNovo Mini). This works great when the machine is up and running, however my HDD is encrypted, therefore I need to enter a passphrase, whenever I boot this machine up. Therefore it would be great when there would be a bluetooth hook, so I could use my bluetooth keyboard to enter this passphrase.

Is it realistic to add this kind of support, or is my setup too exceptional? I'm not that familiar with bluez, but in general it should be possible, shouldn't it?

Reason for closing:  None
Additional comments about closing:  Closing old bug. mkinitcpio easily supports this now, but I don't have the resources to write/test this.

A problem might be that bluetoothd has to be started to recognize the HID devices, and some pairing/trust data is needed from /var - one has to experiment what is needed. For proper operation, bluetoothd has to be killed before leaving initramfs.

In principle, this is doable.
