Description:
Kile dependency to oxygen-icons is missing leading to a very ugly environment. An error about this is reported in the .xsession-errors. Please proceed to add such dependency or at least list it in the opt-dependency otherwise looks that the package is broken.

As far as I know it can just use about any icon theme you set KDE to use. The reference to oxygen is merely because kde defaults to use that if you don't set something yourself.

Kile can also be installed without kde. This is my case as I run gnome. I'm not sure how it works when kde is installed but when it is not it is really ugly if you do not install oxygen-icons. Just another thing. I tried to install the svg version of oxygen-icons (oxygen-icons-svg) before installing oxygen-icons. Kile didn't use them at all. So at least I can conclude that without further configuring kile do not take any icon theme but only some. I guess that oxygen-icons is normally installed with kde.
