DetailsThe new version of Gnomemeeting is freezing after I close its window and then unminimize it again.
Load gnomemeeting and make sure your webcam works with it. Close gnomemeeting's window (not by pressing "quit", but by clicking the window manager), gnomemeeting "still lives" in your notification tray icon area. If you try to unminimize the gnomemeeting window from the tray icon, the video is all frozen up and eventually gnomemeeting does not respond. I am using the spca5xx third party driver for my webcam. Previous versions of Gnomemeeting did not have this problem. |

Eugenia, does this still happen with the 1.2.1 version I updated a few weeks ago?

Yes. Not sure if it's a webcam driver issue though.

Next question: How is gnomemeeting 1.2.3 doing this? If it still crashes, I'll build a full debug package you can install, so we can iron this out as upstream issue.

Dunno, probably doesn't matter anymore, as gnomemeeting is now being rewritten pretty much, as Ekiga.
