Description:
Evince and GIMP crash on openeing the Rails-For-Zombies-Slides.pdf document. However, XPDF can open this file. Additional info: * poppler 0.16.2-2 * evince 2.32.0-7 * gimp 2.6.11-3 * xpdf 3.02_pl5-1 * http://railsforzombies.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Rails-For-Zombies-Slides.pdf Steps to reproduce: 1) Download the Rails-For-Zombies-Slides.pdf 2) Open it in evince or gimp 3) evince just crashes. gimp shows an exception. Both crashes are detected by glibc. (BT and MEM-MAPS are attached) |

Try poppler 0.16.3 - with it, evince seems OK on your PDF.
That does indeed work. Built poppler 0.16.3 and rebuilt evince and
the document opens fine. (There are some file-conflicts between
poppler and poppler-glib tough, when using the 0.16.2 PKGBUILD.
They now seem to provide GObject Introspection files.)
