DetailsAfter todays upgrade of kernel suspend doesn't work anymore. 'sudo pm-suspend' tries to suspend the laptop, but quickly returns to console. /var/log/pm-suspend.log is empty (it holds logs of previous successful suspends and resumes). Reverting the kernel back to 2.6.37-5 fixed the problem.
The problem appears on my laptop which uses KMS (required for Gallium3D ati driver) but not on my PC which doesn't use KMS (graphics powered by nvidia blob), so my guess is that something is wrong with KMS in 2.6.37-6. If you need any more information I can provide it until Monday morning, afterwards I'll be needing a working system so I won't experiment with kernels (at least not until next weekend). |
