DetailsUpgrading to kmess 2.0.6.1 installed two new packages as dependencies (docbook-xml, docbook-xsl). This does not make sense since according to the PKGBUILD, docbook-xml is only a makedepend, while docbook-xsl is not even mentioned anywhere (although it is needed to successfully build kmess). Checking the package with namcap confirms that both packages are not needed to run kmess.
Also, all other dependencies can be omitted and be replaced by "kdebase-lib" package, and "flashplugin" package can be added as an optdepend I'm attaching a PKGBUILD created according my proposed changes. |
