as clearlooks will be the default engine for GNOME 2.12, it would be good to have in extra.

This was on my todo list. You're incorrect about "will be the default theme for gnome 2.12", it is considered as the best choice until now for default theme for gnome 2.12, which can change in the next 7 months ;)
