Description:
crypto++ does not include a .pc file.
This causes the "ceph" package in AUR to not compile.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 5.6.1-1

Steps to reproduce:
* build the ceph package in AUR (or download http://ceph.newdream.net/download/ceph-0.24.3.tar.gz and try to build it).

Attaching a working PKGBUILD for libcryptopp (which I made, not being aware of crypto++. The "++" makes the package non-web-friendly and sometimes hard to search for on the commandline).

you should remove all || return 1 statements
Comment by Alexander F. Rødseth (xyproto) - Tuesday, 22 February 2011, 11:32 GMT
Why? This PKGBUILD is not in use anywhere, after the working libcryptopp package were removed.

Thanks for the info.
Attaching the PKGBUILD and libcrypto++.pc file, without "|| return 1", that can produce a working crypto++ package (with the, IMO, more suitable package name: libcryptopp).

Depending on if you like setconf or not (I like it a lot), I guess sed can be used instead, like in the original PKGBUILD:
sed -i -e 's/^CXXFLAGS/#CXXFLAGS/' GNUmakefile
