DetailsDescription:
Flumotion puts .pid files and logs into /usr/var/{run,log} instead of /var, where they should be. This can be changed by adding --localstatedir=/var as a ./configure option. I tested this via ABS and the packages works for what I do. But I don't know if this change would effect others. Additional info: * package version: 0.8.0-5 * I attached a diff showing where I put the option. Steps to reproduce: Run flumotion as a daemon with or without "--daemonize-to=/var" option, the outcome is the same. Adding --localstatedir=/var to the PKGBUILD then installing the modified package puts state and log files in their proper place. |
