Description:
the default configuration contains the following line: PROMPT 0 # Change to 1 if you do not want to use a menu however this doesn't seem to match what the syslinux wiki says http://syslinux.zytor.com/wiki/index.php/SYSLINUX#PROMPT_flag_val "If flag_val is 0, display the boot: prompt only if the Shift or Alt key is pressed, or Caps Lock or Scroll lock is set (this is the default). If flag_val is 1, always display the boot: prompt." I think this should change to something more meaningful/correct. The menu will always be displayed regardless of PROMPT. The menu won't display only if you comment out the UI var. Additional info: testing/syslinux 4.03-2 /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg Steps to reproduce: pacman -S syslinux grep PROMPT /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg |
