Description:
Try to load http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?j=1 applet will randomly freeze without displaying an error message when run from a terminal, gives a hall of mirror effect of the desktop wallpaper until it turns into a black screen. No audible sound either. The game worked fine before OpenJDK6 package was randomly split into "icedtea-web" for the plugin as an opt-depend. However after installing this new "icedtea-web" package, nothign will work. Have also installed various other prerequisite packages such as: alsa-lib giflib nvidia jogl Additional info: Name : openjdk6 Version : 6.b20_1.9.7-2 Name : icedtea-web Version : 1.0.1-1 $ uname -srmo Linux 2.6.37-ARCH x86_64 GNU/Linux Steps to reproduce: Open firefox to http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?j=1 and wait for it load results in some kind of crash or infinite loop, i am not too sure exactly "what is causing this", but only happening since openjdk6 (browser plugin) package was split into its own seperate package. |

I have installed the jre package for now, which works fine (excluding sound effect/music).
I will also check out the non browser version, to see if that works with openjdk6 later on.
Feel free to run the plugin in debug mode and open another upstream issue for the crashes.
