Description:

Seblu's last comment regarding his AUR package virtualbox_bin 4.0.4-2 (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=9753) brought me to this attention.

This PKGBUILD creates a file /etc/vbox/vbox.cfg, which is only meant for configuring the initscript /etc/rc.d/vboxdrv. Files which are only meant for configuring init scripts in /etc/rc.d usually belong into /etc/conf.d.

So the file /etc/vbox/vbox.cfg should be moved to /etc/conf.d/vboxdrv like it was done in the AUR package virtualbox_bin.

/etc/vbox/vbox.cfg is read by the main VBox script to get the binary path and to detect which frontend to start.

I won't move this file in /etc/conf.d

Well, I can only see one line "INSTALL_DIR=/usr/lib/virtualbox" in this file. But I'm not a virtualbox expert.
Then I think this bug can be closed as invalid.

look in /usr/bin/VBox. all the other "binaries" are symlink to it. Sure i can patch it but i don't want that.
