Description:
When I launch Clementine, it tries to scan my music database. It scans up to a certain percentage (different each time, usually above 60%) and then the percentage decreases, and eventually it stalls at 61%. The only information I get from the console is this : Extended ASCII... possibly should be CP866 or windows-1251 instead which probably (?) has nothing to do with this bug. I have the same version of Clementine on Ubuntu, and it succeeds in scanning the exact same library. Package version : community/clementine 0.6-4 |

Looks like Ubuntu use a patch to fix parsing non-ascii filenames :
http://code.google.com/p/clementine-player/source/detail?r=2498
Ubuntu bug :
http://code.google.com/p/clementine-player/issues/detail?id=752
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clementine/+bug/694423
When I add files whose name doesn't contain non-ASCII characters, it works.
See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Debug_-_Getting_Traces
Before producing backtrace, please make sure to delete the database and start with a fresh configuration.
Maybe it is related to one of these upstream bugs ?
http://code.google.com/p/clementine-player/issues/detail?id=436
http://code.google.com/p/clementine-player/issues/detail?id=624
I removed duplicate lines (otherwise the file would've weighed over 250 MB).
Thanks
