DetailsSince XBMC 10.x I'm unable to shutdown my machine from the menu (was running fine with 9.x).
I found out that there are new dependencies missing for XBMC to do that operation as well as two configuration files. - upower package - etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/org.freedesktop.consolekit.pkla - etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/org.freedesktop.upower.pkla An easy fix for that problem is to install xfce4-session that installs the above. Could that be fixed in xbmc package? |

As I understand other policy kit files is not related to xbmc and allows any user in 'power' group to do shutdown/reboot/suspend.
So I think it is not xbmc bug.
