FS#2282 - tetex 3.0's build system is annoyingly broken
|
DetailsMost likely it'll have to be patched.
using ./configure --prefix=/usr, make prefix=$startdir/pkg/usr DESTDIR=$startdir/pkg install seems to get me the farthest, but it also puts the texi2html stuff in totally the wrong place. Either way, it still dies with a updmap error: updmap: This is updmap, version 1107552857 updmap: no permissions for writing /usr/share/texmf-var/web2c/updmap.log', so no transcript updmap: output directory `/usr/share/texmf-var/fonts/map/dvips/updmap' does not exist. Looks like updmap isn't reading prefix *or* DESTDIR. |
