$ pacman -Qo /etc/X11/sessions/kde*
/etc/X11/sessions/kde.desktop is owned by kdebase-workspace 4.6.0-2
/etc/X11/sessions/kde-safe.desktop is owned by kdebase-workspace 4.6.0-2

$ file /etc/X11/sessions/kde*
/etc/X11/sessions/kde.desktop: broken symbolic link to `/usr/share/apps/kdm/sessions/kde.desktop'
/etc/X11/sessions/kde-safe.desktop: broken symbolic link to `/usr/share/apps/kdm/sessions/kde-safe.desktop'

I guess they should point to kde-plasma.desktop and kde-plasma-safe.desktop

Also, I don't think they should be in /etc/X11/sessions, but in /usr/share/xsessions

(fixed on trunk)

I think you're correct, they go in /usr/share/xsessions. I'll need to fix my WM packages.
