Updating the system with pacman -Syu fails when you upgrade from 4.3.0-6 in case you have nvidia driver installed manually. It fails on a libGL.so and the procedure leaves you without xfree86 on your system. When you uninstall nvidia and reinstall xfree manually with pacman -Sf xfree86 it works.

When you do a pacman -Syu now, it likes to be replaced by "xfree86 form current". This procedure fails, cause "/var/lib/pacman/local/xfree-4.3.0-7/desc is no file or directory". This procedure doesn't cause a problem, but it is annoying, cause there is no way to upgrade xfree properly and is repeated everytime you do a pacman -Syu.

The entire Xfree86 upgrade is quite messy, due to a previous package conflict between xfree86 and fontconfig. The best way is to the whole thing manually.
