community/kphotoalbum 4.1.1-6 complains that it cannot find libkipi.so.7. The version of libkipi on my system is currently .so.8. Creating a softlink to force the issue just led to additional libraries that could not be found. I recompiled the version in abs, and the program built and ran successfully against the installed libraries without any modification Steps to reproduce: Install the current version of kphotoalbum using pacman -S run the program from a command line observe errors copy current version from abs build using makepkg install using pacman -U run program observe normal operation |
