Detailsas defined under http://scala-webapps.epfl.ch/sbaz/scala-dev
Take for instance the scala-doc package: The official naming is: [scala-devel-docs 2.8.1.final] Archlinux's naming is: [scala-doc 2.8.1-1] Users looking for the official "scala-devel-docs" package in [community] won't be able to find it under its proper name. Since there exists also an ambiguity between scala-doc and scala-documentation, which is another official Scala documentation package, finding the right packages is guess work. TDOD: Apply the exact naming convention to Arch Scala packages as found at the official Scala repository site mentioned above, in order to avoid any ambiguity about what and what not to install. Additional info: * package version(s) 2.8.1.final * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
