Detailssmbnetfs use sudo in its init script to change the current user running smbnetfs.
It should be better to use su (a coretutils program) to do that. Sudo is more user oriented program, and su script oriented. Sudo is really heavier than su. It allow more complicated auth pattern, which is not needed here. Other boot script like (postgresql, svnserver,...) use su and not sudo to change user. I attach a patch. |
