Description:
Some big files (for ex. 8 Gb) can't be reassembled using xtmsplit, it seems there is a 2 Gb limit.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 0.2-2 from http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=xtmsplit
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

I've tried to reassemble 9 .xtm files of roughly 900 Mb each, using the command: xtmsplit -paste file.001.xtm (on an ext3 partition)

xtmsplit processed all the files, and said at the end the original file was correctly reassembled. But the resulting file was 2 Gb instead of 8 Gb.

Using the windows program (with wine) from http://xtremsplit.fr/ correctly reassembled the 8 Gb file from the same 9 .xtm files.

Is this bug filed against upstream?

Not sure if original submitter contacted upstream. No bugtracker found. Email sent to xtmsplit@caelistis.be
Let's see if there will be a response.

I don't regularly use xtmsplit. I used it just once, and found the linux version buggy. I just reported it then, but that's all.
