I believe the default was once changed to 'writeback' and then back to 'ordered'. Before completely switching to JFS everywhere, I usually had specified default mount options with 'tune2fs -o', so I wouldn't recognize the wrong default option, but this was a foreign hard disk: "Default mount options: (none)" "EXT3-fs (sdf1): mounted filesystem with writeback data mode" Fix: -# CONFIG_EXT3_DEFAULTS_TO_ORDERED is not set +CONFIG_EXT3_DEFAULTS_TO_ORDERED=y |
