Details

Description: I have switched from 2.6.36 kernel to 2.6.38rc1-2 from AUR. When I try to recompile the kernel modules for my new kernel by doing "sudo /etc/rc.d/vboxdrv setup" it says [BUSY] forever. I waited more than 10 minutes on a i5 core but nothing happened.

2.6.38* (and the AUR in general) are unsupported by Arch Devs/TUs. Unfortunately, this problem is only concerning if you were using kernel26 in core/testing or kernel26-lts in core.

Brad, I understand the situation with AUR. Switched to testing (2.6.37) and no issue with VirtualBox modules.
