Details

Description:
Amarok2.4 doesn't load MySQL database.

As a result, kdebase-runtime MUST be upgraded to 4.5.5 for Amarok to read database. PKGBUILD must include this.

KDE does not use versioned dependencies. As soon as we add those, the next bugreport will be "pacman -Sy amarok kills my complete KDE desktop". You're supposed to keep your system updated, outdated installations are not supported.
