DetailsDescription:
After the upgrade to Xfce 4.8, thunar-archive-plugin does not work. Simply moving the plugin to /usr/lib/thunarx-2 does not work either, suggesting an incompatibility. Additional info: Version : 0.2.4-6 $ pacman -Qlq thunar-archive-plugin /usr/lib/thunarx-1/thunar-archive-plugin.so Steps to reproduce: Install thunar-archive-plugin. Tried latest version. Thunar still doesn't detect the plugin for me. No extract or compress options appear in the context menu.

I don't see thunar-vfs as a needed dependency either.

thunar-archive-plugin 0.2.4-8 seems to work fine here. thunar-vfs is pulled in by the old configure script. no idea if it is needed to archive remote file systems. I'll keep it until a new upstream release changes this. if you can prove that's not needed open a new request.
